Hello, just acquired this Uniform, hoping someone can tell me more about it and maybe an idea in value.

It has 2 pairs of pants, a shirt and dress jacket all ID’d to the same soldier.

This looks like a standard AAF enlisted man's 4 pocket blouse. What make's it related to Burma?

I'd value the blouse and pants at around $60.

If you can't get a solid ID on the them I would say you would be lucky to get $30-$40 these are the types of things that sit on racks and never move. If you could ID it to a POW or someone with an interesting then you might have a different story!

Jumpin Jack

Today, I purchased a named AAF uniform for a Cpl. that served in the Pacific consisting of jacket complete with all insignia plus three ribbons, pants, tie, two garrison caps for $30. Allan is spot on with a retail price, but as stated, a very hard sell without background. Jack

For an ID I would try ww2 enlistment records with the laundry number, and then try cross referencing the locations of the soldier's enlistments to the region you found the uniform in. That works sometimes for me.

Still don't know what ties this uniform to Burma?

If youre looking to sell it....this is the wrong spot. Comments here should be about the uniform itself.

Please post all items for sale in the For sale section.

You do not have enough time to search for an ID?...

It sounds like you could do a little better job of preserving military history seeings how you bought it from his son and didnt even acquire a name...
