These are on Ebay presently. I think these are repros based on the screw post attachment style on the rear of them. Correct? If I'm not mistaken, they are based on the JR Gaunt version of enlisted collar EGA discs. Couldn't upload the fronts of the discs. The pics are too big. But, I believe this style of screw post attachment is used on other repro discs if I'm not mistaken.

Looking closer at the back, I think I can see casting flaws on them. Funny, the front photo on the auction is big and clear. I asked for a good shot of the back and posts... this is what I got.... which is what I expected.

I have a gilt set and a bronze set of this type collar discs in my collection. As far as the backside construction there is a 2010 USMF discussion on this type disc as being original. Check out this link  http://www.usmilitar...3-collar-discs/

I have not been able to authenticate if these were war era or reunion discs other than the above discussion on them from 2010. I have held on to them for further info. There was a recent large scale collector on the east coast that recently passed away I'm being told and there was a cache of this type and other USMC discs that are being sold off now. I would definitely like to see if anyone else has some of these.
