italian front Posted August 10, 2015 #1 Posted August 10, 2015 Hi, a collector sale this like WW2 USAAF aircraft panel. But in you opinion, this can be a ww2 panel and from which aircraft? Thank you Partisan
Third Herd Posted August 10, 2015 #2 Posted August 10, 2015 I don't know what the panel looks like for the auxiliary power unit in an aircraft. With the three ammeters and three position switch for the voltmeter, I think it is for a gas powered generator.
phantomfixer Posted August 10, 2015 #3 Posted August 10, 2015 Judging from the hardware...not an aircraft panel and not WWII...looks like, from the push to test lights and breaker style, wre connetcors etc... I would say 70' or newer, external type generator set control panel
Steve B. Posted August 10, 2015 #4 Posted August 10, 2015 With three ammeters and three different voltage selections on the switch, I think it is for a 3-phase generator. The technology didn't change much between the 40s -70s on stuff like this, but that still doesn't tell us exactly what or exactly when this came from. I too do not think it is an aircraft panel.
italian front Posted August 11, 2015 Author #5 Posted August 11, 2015 Hi, Thank you very much for your opinions guys! Italian front
72psb Posted August 11, 2015 #6 Posted August 11, 2015 Post a pic of the very bottom/middle of the panel so we can see what is printed. Might narrow it down.
