I came across these interesting dies on ebay. I'm not a wing guy but they look real by the age of them. But for a opening bid of $1200 you can start cranking out your own. Here's the item number and a pic from the listing. So what's the thought on these?

Wow, that is something you don't see everyday. I could see a bunch of early wings being cranked out as a result of this sale. ;-/

It is a bit scary but I don't think they will sell. It would be a cool piece to add to the collection if you were into wings. I'm still trying to find a cheap collar disk die. I guess I shouldn't of passed when I had the chance.

Surprisingly enough, the dies sold with a single bid of $1200.00. Hopefully we won't see any restrikes of these wings in the near future. Given the price of some of the wings in this style, I can see a hard core wing collector picking these up.
