Allen Dail Posted February 25, 2008 #1 Posted February 25, 2008 I really do not no if this is the right forum for these. I do not think they are military,I could be wrong but I would like to see just what they are. I think they may be masonic or some other group. If anyone has info please let me know. <edit> Corrected title to match thread. cwn
Brian Keith Posted February 25, 2008 #2 Posted February 25, 2008 I think you are correct, not US military, probably a Chaplin of a fraternal organization. The way they fasten on is even different than US military I've seen. BKW
USMCRECON Posted February 29, 2008 #3 Posted February 29, 2008 I wonder if they might be for a Knights of Columbus uniform or something of that sort????
CNY Militaria Posted February 29, 2008 #4 Posted February 29, 2008 I believe Knights Templar wear these insignia.

hhbooker2 Posted September 3, 2014 #7 Posted September 3, 2014 GREETINGS & SALUTATIONS! Some time ago I posed a piece on the fraternal organizations who wore rank straps like the pre-1898 U.S. Navy and still worn by the U.S. Army, they are seen at https://picasaweb.google.com/booker1942 They include the Masonic, Odd Fellows, Woodmen of the World, etc., stop and see the free website and download whatever you want and use however you wish.
