Does anyone recognize the ribbon on the bottom right? I have seen it before but cannot remember what it is. Thanks!

It appears to be the WW1 French Verdun Medal.

Thanks, thats what it looks to be. I wonder why it would be on a 7th AD Ike jacket...I wonder if it was mistaken for something else.

Here is the rest of the uniform, a first army sized patch used to be on the left shoulder. Any thoughts on why the Verdun ribbon would be on here?

The Verdun Medal was "awarded" to an individual for a contribution to the rebuilding on the city and area. I've seen award documents well into the 1930s to Americans, so it's not inconceivable that the Ike's owner put a few francs in the box when the division went through Verdun in August '44.
