earlymb Posted May 16, 2009 Share #1 Posted May 16, 2009 Last weekend I had a re-enactment with my Vietnam-group at Camp Crailo, a model ruined village and former military training site, ideal for a Battle of Hue scenario. We occupied a building next to a wooded area (the buildings on the other side were occupied by a British para unit from Market-Garden ). We built a machinegun bunker at the treeline, and the VC had a covered manhole 30 meters into the woods. We did 3 mock battles and 2 or 3 weapon demo's; weapons used were M16's, AK47's, M60, M14, M1/2 Carbines, Shotgun and M1D sniper. Most of these were fully auto. earlymb Posted May 17, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted May 17, 2009 We sure had a nice weekend! Usually we aren't allowed to dig at our other event locations, so this opportunity was taken with both hands. Nearly all groups participating in this event moved some earth one way or another.
