Allan H. Posted October 23, 2023 Share #1 Posted October 23, 2023 This badge was worn by US advisors to the Chinese turing World War II at the Chinese Field Artillery Training Center. Note that the badge is Chinese made with two "chop" characters and the ubiquitous wire loops for holding a simple bit attachment. This particular badge has been individually numbered "96." The FATC crest was at the top of Jay Masaro's wants list for years. I'm not sure if he found one prior to his untimely passing, but learning about the unit's existance and knowing that the trade possibilities with one of the giants of the collecting community always made me want to find one.
