Mike Kasper Posted June 6, 2021 Share #1 Posted June 6, 2021 Greetings, an astute forum member alerted me to an engraved Purple Heart Medal for Private Drexel F. Quattlebaum who served with the 66th Armored Infantry Battalion and was KIA on January 12, 1945. This medal has resurfaced again at an upcoming Affiliated Auctions & Realty auction. I bought and possess the original documents related to the soldier that were sadly linked to this fake: https://www.proxibid.com/.../CASE.../lotInformation/61810522 Here is a link to the discussion link on the The Purple Heart | Stories of Sacrifice Facebook page about a group of these that were being peddled over the past few years: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1359081360863806/permalink/2782478491857412
