Greg Robinson Posted January 22, 2009 Share #1 Posted January 22, 2009 I believe these are the 1910 pattern leggings worn by Marines during WW1. Mustard tan canvas and olive green laces. I own an identical set dated in the 1920's that were Marine issue. While not marked "USMC" they are marked "Phila Depot 1919" and the style of marking and the fonts used are consistent with how the Marine Corps did at their Phila Depot. New Romantic Posted January 22, 2009 Share #2 Posted January 22, 2009 Looks like it Greg, I had a 1918 dated Philadelphia Depot pair that had a Marine's name stamped inside.
