This is a really odd one, a QMUTC Guidon, for the Quartermaster Unit Training Center. This unit was based in Boston in 1960, and from what I can tell the title of the unit pretty much sums it up, they trained QM troops. This flag is interesting in that its a real army guidon, but the letters are installed in a weird way. Rather than being pieces of fabric that are sewn on, this actually has a weird embroidered chainstitch design. I've never seen one like it before, and given that its for a QM unit, I'm a bit surprised that such a crappy job was done. Never seen another like it.

Thank you. Are you familiar with the QMUTC at all? I found nearly nothing on google, and I can't really figure out when it existed, or when it was dissolved.

I've never heard that acronym before, so I'm no help. I'll look into it in my reference books and see if I can find anything.
