Greg Robinson Posted December 31, 2006 #1 Posted December 31, 2006 Along with their M4 Camillus Cutlery also made an M3 trench knife. The good news is the single pin retaining the pommel is a dead giveaway that it's a repro. The only one of these I've personally seen is their "guard marked" version. I think they also made a repro "blade mark" M3 and not sure how they are constructed And they made a reproduction of their WW2 USMC 1219C2 knife. As with the KA-BAR repro the scabbard is wrong. Also, there are enough features of construction that vary from the WW2 originals that they can be spotted.

RRA227 Posted January 2, 2007 #3 Posted January 2, 2007 My copy blade marked M-3. Had this from the release date. When they sold them to the wholesalers(S.W.I.,ect.). When I ordered them for the store I ordered a extra for myself. I did not want a M-4.I carried this from that time. It is used by me when we go floating down the river on old truck innertubes or when white water rafting. The scabbard is a copy. Sorry for the large file size. Rich A.
Duffswpa Posted October 1, 2025 #4 Posted October 1, 2025 Did Camillus produce reproductions marked on the cross guard?
Duffswpa Posted October 1, 2025 #5 Posted October 1, 2025 I am looking to buy one that is guard marked USM3 over CAMILLUS. Pommel with flaming bomb and 2 pins.
