I was searching for something and came across an on-line Forum that might be known to some of our

reenactors, but I had not seen before:

Overall it appears to be an early 20th Century nostalgia forum... ya' know, when guys were guys, and gals were gals!

 

They have a WWII section which runs a wide range of interest. It's not quite as compartmentalized as ours but there

are some gems there.

 

It's just my first impression, but a lot of the articles seem to look at memorabilia more from the aspect of style and

design. Maybe not quite the way some of us on here look at things, but an interesting perspective nonetheless.

yes the Fedora Lounge does have lots of WWII flight jacket collectors and they have lots of interesting discussions on the different types of flight jackets like the A2, G1, and other types worn by bomber crews, etc.

 

also lots of info on vintage navy pea coats and more

I'm a member over there and have been for a few years. They are generally nice people but the majority of the forum focuses on civilian items. The military interest area is small. There are a few people who are into collecting jackets and reenacting and things, but not a lot. It is great if you're into the vintage lifestyle overall, but in no way compares to this forum as a source of information for military items. There are some very nice sections on things like vintage recipes, furniture, home decor, civilian clothing, etc.

I’ve been there a while myself. It’s amazing how deep the knowledge level is over there for the 30s and 40s lifestyle. The only problem I think there is on that forum is wading through a lot of subject matter that has nothing to do with the overall theme.

i use the same phone company for personal and work phones along with a usb wireless boardband card set up for my own personal internet use and i would like to join but there is no known isp type address on the usb wireless boardband set up i was told ..so how do i join then .plus the twp email account that they will not take are both the accounts i use for personal and business email accounts ..any help here people..
