Jim Baker Posted September 28, 2009 #1 Posted September 28, 2009 Earlier this year I drove up to Georgetown (Colorado) for lunch. I was looking through a book store there and found a 1944 first edition of Richard Tregaskis' "Invasion Diary". I didn't buy it for whatever reason and regretted not getting it. We went back up today for some fall color and low and behold there it was. It's now on my shelf. In the book Tregaskis covers the invasion of Sicily and Italy. Tregaskis also wrote "Guadalcanal Diary". I have a 1943 copy of Guadalcanal Diary but it is now in sad shape. If anyone has a wartime edition they would like to part with, please let me know. Thanks!!
camopara Posted September 29, 2009 #2 Posted September 29, 2009 Jim, I was working in the garage this past weekend and I think I saw a copy of it. You are more than welcome to it. Email me this weekend, as I am on the road this week, and I'll dig it out.
