Thanks- Robert  Ken, Actually, Anderson cut the blades of the Patton sabers into three sections and according to Silvey, most of the knives made from the butt end had clip point blades like the one on eBay.
ken1224 Posted September 23, 2009 Author #3 Posted September 23, 2009 Thanks Gunbarrel.........The Anderson is a sweet knife to own.

Many Thank, Robert :dunno: To me it looks right but I don't have an Anderson sword/knife yet. I'm not knowledgable - thats why I listed the link. Maybe some of the others on the forum who have Anderson knives can help out. Good luck. Bill
Frank Trzaska Posted September 23, 2009 #8 Posted September 23, 2009 It appears to be the WW II era made knife and not ones of the recently ground pieces. The seller is a very good guy and will surely back up his sales. All in all with the sheath it is a very nice item. All the best Frank Trzaska
ken1224 Posted September 23, 2009 Author #9 Posted September 23, 2009 NOW I feel confident that I made the right move. Frank is a expert and I always wanted the Anderson but never got my hands on one. I think John had one but I was to late. Now if I win I have something real and I got it on e-bay. Many Thanks, Robert :laughing1:
