User responses have been disabled.** Members of the USMF community: Today the administration was forced to suspend the account of community member "GERMAN-PATCH-HUNTER" for aiding a seller in fraudulent seller practices and in lying to the administration. The short of the story is that, once a seller HillBilly1918 had transacted to sell a patch to member camelgreen44 for a certain price, "GERMAN-PATCH-HUNTER" apparently offered to purchase the patch from the seller. The seller then backed out of his contract with camelgreen44 in order to sell the patch to "GERMAN-PATCH-HUNTER". The Administration was notified and we began to look into the issue. Clearly in an effort to cover up his deception and to prevent the Administration's threatened banning of seller HillBilly1918, "GERMAN-PATCH-HUNTER" told HillBilly1918 to not tell anyone the patch went to him AND to tell the Administration lie (i.e. that the patch had been sold to an earlier offer). Granted, we can't root out all fraudsters, but when we find one we are sure to act. We do NOT tolerate this behavior in the least. Individuals like these who would so easily deceive others (as in this case) are clearly not welcomed on here. ADMIN Posted August 9, 2008 Author #2 Posted August 9, 2008 This former member has tried several times to send messages to the administration and also tried to coax at least one current member into contacted the administration (particularly ADMIN) regarding this matter. Please do NOT waste the administration's time in passing any "messages" along to the administration from this user.
