graham Posted May 6, 2012 #1 Posted May 6, 2012 I picked this up a while ago. I notice in period ww2 photos the scabards dont have the metal tip. Was this a post war modification or what ? Sorry for the novice question but I am more of a badge than bayonet kind of guy ! Graham

I was never able to determine exactly where they came from, but believe they were an Argentine modification. However, I certainly am not positive about that and am open to changing that view if someone has more accurate information.
