Can anyone tell me if these are original? I've heard that these did not come in a left and right pattern.

I have three Tank Destroyer Officer's uniforms and all three have both of the BOS half-tracks facing the same direction. I was told by the man who gave me one of the uniforms that the issue devices were not "handed" and both faced the same way. He also told me that some non-issue sets were made with the two vehicles "looking at each other" and I have two loose private purchase sets that do face each other; one of those has screw-back mounts like this pair.

 

I also think that Joe Weinstein makes (or made) really nice replica TD officer sets and that they have screw-back mounts but I don't know enough asbout them to tell if this is might be one of his sets or not and these visually appear older.
