I have misplaced my copy of the 1937 USMC uniform regulations and need a reminder. What are the correct diminsions for the WW2 Marine 1st or 2nd Lt. shoulder bars? Is it 1 1/8" long or just 1 inch long?

Quote: "For epaulets, shoulder knots, and shoulder straps, bar to be 1-1/8 inches long, and 3/8 inch wide; for garrison caps and collar of cotton and flannel shirts, approximately five-eighths of foregoing size, and flat."
