NKina91 Posted September 19, 2019 #1 Posted September 19, 2019 I just acquired this M1942 paratrooper jacket and wanted to show it here. The jacket is salty but all the snaps and zippers work and function well. All the zippers are marked conmar. The jacket itself is in sturdy but well used condition. I took a few photos of some areas that were field repaired I believe. The repair material is a thicker cloth almost like what the invasion flag armbands are made of. It was a woodwork find from New York. Definitely a cool "been there" jacket that displays very well. Let me know what you think!
NKina91 Posted September 19, 2019 Author #6 Posted September 19, 2019 The last ones! I put some gear together for a display for it. Thanks for looking.
No Quarter Posted September 19, 2019 #7 Posted September 19, 2019 Awesome! I prefer my stuff in salty condition like this jacket instead of mint! Jacob
dhcoleterracina Posted September 19, 2019 #9 Posted September 19, 2019 AND you have the sometimes elusive belt, well done.
Red Devil Posted September 19, 2019 #11 Posted September 19, 2019 Very nice jacket. Congrats on the fine acquisition!

Sequatchiee Posted September 20, 2019 #13 Posted September 20, 2019 Très belle veste ! Y a-t-il une trace de l'étiquette du fabricant dans la poche ou l'étiquette encore lisible ? un numéro de matricule ou de "Laundry" à l'intérieur ou autre marquage ?
M24 Chaffee Posted September 20, 2019 #14 Posted September 20, 2019 I like the “been there” look and you have a cool display! Frank
