Hi everybody,

I have this box in my collection. It's an Chest Commode from Issoudun Airfield, probably  from Camp Hospital 14 or 59.

Information from Manual for the Medical Department 1916.

I research more information and pictures of this chest "in action". I have never seen over box at the present.
Many thanks, Simon from France.

This is something that i haven't seen in someone's collection in at least 25 years. The only other one that i know of is much like your's, but the collector still had the porcelain thunder mug that went inside. It was Medical Department as I recall.

This has to rank way up there on the list of unusual items in a person's collection. Thanks for sharing it.

Allan
