T Ambrosini Posted November 4, 2018 #1 Posted November 4, 2018 Here are some of my EE-91 phones and my BE-63 phone box which was intended for use by the coast artillery. I have mounted one of the phones in the box with a HS-30 headset and T-26 chest microphone. I'm hoping to find a T-17-A headset/microphone assembly like this one day..... Tom
T Ambrosini Posted November 4, 2018 Author #3 Posted November 4, 2018 Outside of BE-63 box, dated 6-15-43
T Ambrosini Posted November 4, 2018 Author #4 Posted November 4, 2018 Four of the EE-91 phones... All without headsets or handsets
T Ambrosini Posted November 4, 2018 Author #6 Posted November 4, 2018 Finally, WW2 period HS-30 diagram
T Ambrosini Posted November 4, 2018 Author #7 Posted November 4, 2018 First post should read HS-17-A, not T-17-A... My bad! Tom
Vpep Posted November 8, 2018 #8 Posted November 8, 2018 That is awesome, thanks for sharing. I have an EE-91 myself, now I have to find that box to go with it.
T Ambrosini Posted November 8, 2018 Author #9 Posted November 8, 2018 That is awesome, thanks for sharing. I have an EE-91 myself, now I have to find that box to go with it. I hope you find one. They are a bit hard to come by but do pop up in odd places from time to time. One of ones in the Fort MacArthur museum in San Pedro, CA, was found next to the post swimming pool. I'd love to get one of the pre-WW2 cast iron phone boxes as well but those are even more difficult to find for sale. There are a few scattered around the Presidio of San Francisco but the vandals and environment haven't been kind to them. Tom
