Do you own this M1917 helmet? Looking to reconnect...

I sold this helmet and mess kit on ebay about 4-5 years ago do to certain circumstances. I recently have been thinking about it and wonder if anyone on this forum bought it from me? The helmet also has a medical insignia on the back as well as the other markings. It might be a long shot but I would love to reconnect with this helmet and mess kit. Please PM if you are the owner. I would call that more of a Cross of Lorraine. Maybe of the 79th Division. Did you ever ID your guy to a unit?

That is correct. Im not trying to find info on the helmet or soldier. I am trying to find out if someone on this forum owns this helmet. I sold it 4-5 years ago. Thanks!

Ok, good luck. Looks like it's an interesting research project for the owner, if the mess kit goes with the helmet. I guess you're thinking the helmet could be a marking for the 159th Field Hospital (organized from Utah/Nevada units in WWI)? That's cool.
