This patch has continued to elude me.  Disney artwork by H. Porter and purportedly done in August of 1945.  As I alluded to earlier, I have never seen an original patch, but I did find the artwork on the web, but no other information with it or who it belonged to.  I thought I would see if there is anymore information regarding this artwork.  Thanks, pat

Thanks, johnny.  That looks like the photo millstein has in his book.  But, boy, it is a great looking patch, both in detail and color!

Yes the artist was hank Porter.

 

Yes the design was created in August 1945.
