TALLYHO Posted December 16, 2015 Share #1 Posted December 16, 2015 Made from a 55mm shell casing, the head stamp on the bottom is dated 6-98 (1898). The handle is made with two .30 caliber rounds that have been cut and soldered to the outside of the casing, top and bottom. They are joined together with two .45 caliber govt. (government) shell casings forming the handle. An early turn of the century piece. Stands 4 1/8" high. The base is 3" in diameter.
