Picked this up at the weekly auction last night. Aircraft Radar Pod, probably the most unusual item I have found at an auction. Also picked up the handful of insignia and the neat picture frame made of Plexiglas.

It is a radio direction finding antenna, you can see them in photos of B-17's.
