September 1, 20187 yr #1 I would like to recreate a WWI ribbon with 5 battle stars and 1 citation star on it. Is there a special way to do it? I have tried but it is difficult to do. Slightly off topic, I read somewhere that newer WWI ribbons for NOKs if you had 5 battle stars that would be silver as well.I know WWII and beyond had that reg for newer awards like campaign medals, NDSM, etc.
September 1, 20187 yr #2 Silver star in the middle with 3 bronze on right and 2 to the left ( I have a uniform that has the silver in the middle with 3 on @ side)

September 4, 20187 yr #6 I believe I also saw a picture of Billy Mitchell in his First War aviation uniform showing his Victory Medal ribbon. He had so many stars that he either had 2 ribbons or an extra long ribbon to hold all of them.
September 4, 20187 yr #8 3 Silver Stars and 5 Bronze Campaign....DSC I figure he should have had the MoH as well but guessing there were those who had blocked it. http://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/28550-two-war-veteran-ww1-ww2/?fromsearch=1
