Her early career days included teaching school in SE Kansas; Marshall Deputy, Guardette for Beech Aircraft, building contractor (owner and operator), and Procurement Quality control for Boeing Military Airplane Company - all in Wichita, KS. She retired from Boeing in July of 1982, after 30 years. She was a true pioneer, having lived from the "horse & buggy" to the NASA Apollo Missions.
