I have got this flag, I have buy this 15 years ago and I nether make research after this!

Since it has the words "TROOP 1005" on it, I would have to guess that it was the flag for a Boy Scout Troop. Most BSA troop have their on flags with their numbers on it. The troop that my son and I belong to have our number as well as "25 years" on our troop flag.
