I recently acquired a really nice 1942-dated Navy 2nd Class Corpsman rate that I though would be the perfect photographic complement to my USMC Briddell bolo knife with 1942-dated scabbard made by BOYT.

 

 

The helmet the bolo is leaning against is a 1943 front seam, fixed bail with a Seamans Paper Co. liner. Here are some full-length shots and close ups of the bolo knife -
