Can someone suggest some books or manuals to use to determine the correct contents for the various first aid kits in use WW2 through end of the VN War?

go to this site---- COMBAT MEDIC--- you will see and read about many of the kits.

The 2 sites mentioned above are fantastic. Ben Major (med_dept) on the forum runs the first of the 2, may I also recommend you join the forum.
