February 22, 201016 yr #3 Weird one much? The bullion on the skull and border look almost German to me, yet the back and red silk on the little square look Japanese. Anyone else notice this? I have attached a picture of a german made patch for comparison....Note the bullion on the lighting bolt with the bullion of the skull, and the bullion border with the other bullion border...nearly the same.

February 22, 201016 yr #5 If I may ask, what kind of WWII uniform was it removed from? It seems unlikely to have been removed from a Marine Corps uniform. Or is it just assumed to have been removed from a uniform from the stitching still left?
