A friend of mine sent me these pictures of a carrying case he found in a yard sale. He did not give me the measurements.

I have no idea of what is it.

Hi Andrei, it is a USN carrying case for a signal tripod, there is a box shaped padded carrying case for the signalling device. I think there are actual D-day or just post D-day photo's of Navy guys on the beaches using this set up.

 

Try typing the details you have on the case into the search engine here on the forum, I am sure there was a topic on this in the last two years. ;)

If you want to know what it really is, try a google search for the US Navy TBX radio set. That's the antenna carrying bag.

Thanks robin, there you go Andrei robin has identified it for you, I think the last time it was on here at the forum it was identfied as a tripod case.
