October 14, 200916 yr #2 USMC General William J Scheyer uniform: OCEANSIDE, California, May 16, 1956 – Major General William J. Scheyer, former assistant director of personnel of the Marine Corps in Washington, died in the Naval Hospital at Camp Pendleton. He participated in the landing at Guadalcanal and other major offensives in the Pacific Theater during World War II. General Scheyer’s last assignment before retiring in March 1954, was as assistant base commander of Camp Pendleton. Medals: Legion of Merit (2) with "V" Valour (1943 and 1944), Bronze Star with "V" Valour (1942 and 1944), Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon (1942-44), Marine Corps Expeditionary (1929-30), Second Nicaraguan Campaign (1927), Yangtze Service (1930-32), Navy China Service (1947-49), American Defense Service (1939-41), American Campaign (1941-42 & 1944-46), Asiatic Pacific Campaign w/ 4 battle stars (1942-44)* e World War II Victory (1941-45). October 14, 200916 yr #4 Hello, Here is one that I acquired earlier this year. This DCU belonged to General Hugh Shelton who served as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from 1997 until 2001. He is wearing the same exact DCU jacket in the attached photo. Jason

I do not collect OIF/OEF GO's are anything related to the current conflict, but that would be an interesting story to say the least on how you came into possession of that uniform set and cap.

January 10, 201016 yr #24 One of my more favorite DCU's. This uniform belonged to Brigadier General John F. McNeill of the 351st Civil Affairs Command (US Army Reserve). It is complete with jacket and pants. BG McNeill has had quite a distinguished career in the army and has served in Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm, Operation Uphold Democracy, Operation Joint Endeavour, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
January 10, 201016 yr #25 I only have three General's uniforms currently and two of them were worn before they were promoted to flag rank. I've posted both of them previously (a couple years ago) so am only going to post one photo of each, just for reference. This one bears sterling Brigadier's stars on the epaulets but, oddly, still retains the Cavalry branch insignia on the collar. It has ribbons from the Indian Wars, the Philippines, the Mexican border campaign, and WW-I but it's unnamed.
