I am not very familair at all with these so....does this SSI look okay to you experts? It's on a uniform I looked at. Thanks in advance

Thanks guys. I know it would be much easier to look at something in person as opposed to a picture but I have found that knowledgeable collectors can usually pick up on things very quickly if it's not right....even in a photo.

The other thing to note is that, although current reproductions do exist of this patch, the originals are under $15. Given that this is machine sewn to the blouse (a very common Marine characteristic of WWII), it would seem unlikely to be a repro (it would simply be a large waste of time on behalf of a faker to put a current production one on an old blouse when a large profit couldn't be turned).
