Hi,

I wanted to see if you all might be interested in starting a new discussion topic.

 

This day in history - Then all who want to post of what may have happened this day in history during WWII, WWI, Korea, Vietnam, Civil war, Revolutionary war, Desert Storm, Iraqi Freedom, whatever else, etc....

I think it would be a great forum post.

I was thinking about having it as a whole topic under US MILITARY DISCUSSIONS or something like that or under Historical discussions.

 

Maybe it could be titled - This day in US military history....... or whatever.......

I do not know, but I think it would be a great place people can learn more and more about our US History and not just about WW2. I am a HUGE WW2 buff, but I would be interested to learn daily happenings from the different wars.

 

Anyone else think this could work? or would be a good column?

Another way to make this happen - is with daily posts to this thread. If it should gain momentum, the topic title would be changed "This day in US military history" and it would the likely be pinned by the Mod's for Military discussion, once genuine interest is known.

I will try and start it if I can, I dont know if i can get info on all the war's daily, but I can try to start with maybe WWII and Korea or Vietnam. I will try.

 

It doesnt have to be done, I just figured it would be interesting for folks.
