June 16Jun 16 Author #3 Trying to track down Doctor and get more info on him in military archives. Trying to research military service of Captain J.H. Skivery, No. 0388147. Comm Zone, ETO. Thanks Laurence
June 16Jun 16 #4 The ticket shows a departure from a union station, which could have been located in any number of cities; it does not show a destination, as far as I can tell.
June 16Jun 16 Author #5 Ok thanks for the update. Always associate Union Station with DC. Just like there is only one Grand Central. But southern pacific did not have a route into DC.
June 16Jun 16 #6 Here is some information I located for him. Be advised that US Army WWII morning reports at NARA only go up to Dec 44 at present. His obituary indicates that he spent time in the ETO, Germany specifically. Sourced from NARA, Ancestry and Find A Grave: The Fitzsimmons General Hospital (Aurora, CO) Medical Department Replacement Pool showing he moved from temporary duty at Bushnell General Hospital (Brigham City, UT) to the Medical Field Service School, Carlisle Barracks, PA for temporary duty there. After temporary duty at Medical Field Service School, Carlisle Barracks, PA, he was transferred to Fort Douglas, UT: Photo of him via Ancestry

Best Regards Laurence You are welcome. Hopefully, others on here will be able to provide additional information. Be advised that my statement about morning reports at NARA being available only up to Dec 44 at present, only refers to these documents being available online. Also, you can request his Official Military Personnel File at the link below: https://www.archives.gov/veterans/military-service-records
