I spotted this Hummvee while out walking my granddogs. I know little about these vehicles but guessing this is civilian. Just thought I’d post to get opinions of those with better knowledge. 
We also met a triceratops but I’m guessing that is for a different forum.

It looks to me like a former military (Humvee) ambulance.

Thanks! That’s interesting, and the reason I asked. On our next walkies I’ll try to get a closer look.

It looks to be an unarmored one:

These ambulances were of limited use “outside the wire” in both Afghanistan and Iraq, partially due to the IED threat; obviously, the unarmored one more so. 

I just did some googling and agree it sure seems to be one. I hadn’t considered it being an ambulance.

Hopefully none of you had to take a ride in the back of one of these.
