April 15Apr 15 #1 Hello everyone, I found these medals overseas in an Asian flea market, I picked up both of them for right at $100. Unfortunately the bronze star is missing the suspension. I don't really know too much about US medals and orders, is there any way to tell what era these are from? Thanks!
April 16Apr 16 #2 Silver star is ww2 made to. There could be a number on the edge and may be researchable? Not sure about the bronze star but likely WW2.
April 16Apr 16 #3 $100 USD? You could probably buy the same pieces at a large US militaria show for about half that. You can still find mint, unissued Bronze Stars in the cardboard shipping boxes for less than $20 each. The pendant by itself? Maybe a $5 item. The Silver Star appears to be unnumbered. While it is WWII manufacture, you will probably see these in the $50 range at shows and they don't go flying out of the cases at those prices. Allan
