Named M3 Binoculars with High Serial Number + M17 Case

Hey all,

I bought this really nice set by Nash-Kalvinator at a very good price (with a good legible range marking on the left lens). The most intriguing thing at first was the seriously high serial number (as you can see in the photos), but to my surprise it also came with the name of the owner. Sadly the names are a bit faded (the ranking is clear, S/SGT.), but from what I could read it could be someone named Lloyd/Floyd W. + last name. There´s also a Baker-3 which I haven´t been able to figure out. I initially just wanted to share because of the high SN, but if anyone has any other ideas as to who the owner might be, please feel free to share. Either way, a pretty nice piece to have in the collection, especially considering the condition. Thank you in advance!
