March 7Mar 7 #1 Grouping to the Lehman brothers, William "Bill" Lehman and Roy F. Lehman Jr. William was with the 440th Troop Carrier Group as an engine mechanic, and Roy was a sharpshooter with the 310th Infantry Regiment Constabulary in the occupation. There are tons of interesting and historical items in the group, my favorite has to be Williams ike jacket or the German flag Roy brought back. William stated that the flag was traded for by Roy with a pack of smokes. This group was bought from William by a fellow collector in the area who was kind enough to pass these items on to me as the new caretaker.
March 7Mar 7 #4 Make sure the short snorter ends up in an acid-free sleeve if it isn't already. Acidic plastic will peel away the signatures from the dollar over time.
March 7Mar 7 #8 That's a great grouping, some pictures/scans of that 16th Constabulary baseball team line-up book would be a welcome contribution to the "Baseball in the Armed Forces" thread. https://www.usmilitariaforum.com/forums/index.php?/topic/262382-baseball-in-the-armed-forces/
March 15Mar 15 #12 about as complete as it gets. Love those large troop carrier patches and the unit crests. Thanks for sharing
March 15Mar 15 #13 Fantastic all around grouping. So glad it all stayed together during it's transfer to you. Love that pic of him pointing to his stacked overseas bars!
