Recent sale on Shop GW. Pretty incredible!  Does the name and rank presume it was awarded to a Marine? The writing on the side reads: William Givens, Corporal

    Yes. Awarded to Marine.   Great medal and a great buy.

    In another post, I was reminded that it was sold the same day with the same Marine’s 1902 GC in a separate lot.
