February 3Feb 3 #1 All the photos I've come across with US MG crews firing the M-1909 shows it being operated with the bipod. As part of the full issue by TO&E for an M-1909 would it have included also the tripod? Thanks......

That ammo box behind the trooper with the ammo slide, I have one of those and...a tripod. I can't find any other display parts. I did find a mule/horse M1909 pack frame.
March 15Mar 15 #4 I think this is the identical model as in your pics? But this pic (it's mine) does seem to show the complete "issue" of items with the gun? Or I will assume that it does? I can't speak a word to what the TOE was as far as the tripod goes, when that became part of the TOE, or if it was ever fielded as such. Perhaps a limited issue item, or added after the machine gun had been accepted and in inventory for a bit? Or in the TOE but never produced and fielded?
