November 29, 2025Nov 29 #1 Hello, May I have your opinion on these US boots ? Real ww2 US Navy boondockers or fake ones ? Thanks for the feedbacks. P.A
November 29, 2025Nov 29 #3 Would normally have a contract number. Not the normal wording on WWII-era Navy contracted shoes. what does the date say (kind of blurry)? I'd say they were USMC.
November 29, 2025Nov 29 Author #4 Thank you for the feedbacks ! I don't have a better pic of the date at the moment (shoes are not mine yet)... I did ask for one Would you say these are original shoelaces ? P.A
November 29, 2025Nov 29 #5 Look inside the shoes - there should be inspector stamp USN/USMC. They are USMC in my opinion. Usn should have nxsx contract visible inisde.
November 29, 2025Nov 29 #7 Id say they are original USMC. I don't believe anybody makes that corded type sole, at least not in that pattern. Not even some of the available high end reproductions on the market have them, I believe someone in Japan does make the s but I've not personally investigated that yet. They look nice, lucky find.
