This is a souvenir from a vet who served in the medical corp in Siberia.There is a rppc of him and a photo of the ship he sailed on.

It has been hanging on a wall for a long time and has lost some of it's color.but this is still a very nice item and hard to find.

No idea on value but the hat in the portrait looks unusual.

I do not think it is a U.S. hat,it looks like a Turkish Fez.

It's a US hat, despite what you think it looks like. 

 

 

These are beautifully crafted embroidered pieces, but unfortunately there is not a huge market for them.  I would probably be asking about $75 for this if it were mine.
