The webbing looks like lap belt material ..

any ideas? I could not find this type of material on other M-1936s

I own one or two and have seen many others. US made 1945.

    As stated above it is USGI. I would not call these belts "rare", but they are far less common than other WWII pistol belts.

    It is one of the late production R.M. Co. belts with non-directional weave.
