August 1, 2025Aug 1 #1 Got a freebie… unmarked blade and guard. Mount has the SP marking of Standard Products and lot 146 marking. Im assuming it was salvaged as it looks like old pitting was removed. Guess they scrubbed the guard at that time. Still sharp. Leather is in good shape. Still fits a carbine nicely. Came with a used non-tipped early M8A1 scabbard. thoughts?

Original OG and in very nice shape too. Webbing is lighter green (not OD3) than the typical 1960s ones and may be a bit lighter weight material too.
