"Beer Can" insignia opinions needed

I took a gamble on this insignia I found over the weekend and wanted to see if it might be a real deal beer can-style insignia from the RVN. The item itself is very thin, and I have posted several pix here that shows it in size and thickness in comparison to a quarter. Thanks in advance for the assistance.
