May 16, 20251 yr #1 Good day everyone, I just found a PCU 17 parachute harness to add to my collection. Unfortunately I wasn't able to find much online, it still has the orignial logs that are dated 1992. I was wondering on what aircaft was it used and if it was used in helicopters. All information about is appreciated! I previously accidently posted on can you ID but I guess its already IDd. Thanks!
May 17, 20251 yr #2 The PCU-17 along with the HBU-6/P safety strap is used as a crew restraint harness by both the Air Force and Navy. It would be used in aircraft such as the C-17, C-130, P-3, and C-2. It was not designed for helicopters.
