I picked up a couple new USMC helo squadron patches from the 1970s that I thought I would share. First is a HMM-164 squadron patch from their deployment to Australia in 1974.

I agree. The WW2 stuff is great but you need deep pockets to collect those patches. The later ones are just as interesting and can be found for a lot less!

Very nice. Post WWII USMC Aviation Patches is a field that needs more documentation and there are so many neat but unkown examples out there.

Great patches. HMH-462 is also known as the Screw Crew. You will notice that there is a small screw in both of those patches. I just recently picked up on of the the Atsugi det patches like yours. Great Lot and thanks for sharing.
